11/9/2011 - Santa Stroll: The annual Santa Stroll will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 3 beginning at Schreckengost Park at the corner of Oregon Avenue and 15th Street. New this year is the event is on a Saturday night. Make it a family evening out with the illumination of the downtown Christmas lights, listen to Christmas carolers from Busy Corner Ministries, watch dancers inside the Art In Motion Dance Studio, have something to eat at one of the many restaurants, shop at Ashton's 5&10 then visit village hall where, beginning at 7 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children. Photos with the couple will be available for $5 each, a color 5x7 print by Poorbaugh Professional Photography. Each child will receive an activity book and candy cane, courtesy of the Chamber.
